State law permits breastfeeding in any place, public or private, where the person is otherwise allowed to be. Since this is a grocery store, I am going to surmise that a purchase should be made.
I intend to buy a cup of coffee and another grocery item, then sit on the stools in front of the Starbucks coffee stand to nurse my baby. Please join me.

Did NPR do a story? I can’t find it online, and I can’t find channel 13′s story online. I don’t watch TV, but did they show it on the nightly news?
I’m sorry that you have such a limited opinion on the purpose of breasts.
Also, in regard to your last point, I fail to see why you must equate one with the other. Why does giving your baby and yourself some privacy mean that you should eat with a blanket over your head? It’s not that linear, sweetheart.
And thirdly, I’ve been following the comment exchange here, and I have one last thing to say. If you want your opinions on the subject of public breastfeeding to be respected, you should respect those of others, be it uncovered, covered, or what not. If you can’t respect them, then you have no right to expect something which you cannot do yourself.
