Baby, right round, like a record, baby, right round round round…
Ok.
I got my first taste of Phat Fiber this month. LOVE it. I’m new to spinning, yet already hooked.
Handspun, the first. 1 oz., 1/2 of which is Ashford Corriedale Sliver in Lime, the other 1/2 was the “Macaw” BFL sample from BeesyBee. Both spun & plied on my Louet octagonal 41 g top whorl drop spindle.
Handspun, the first.
25 yards of aran/bulky.
It started as this sample of Macaw on BFL. It spun like a dream.

Macaw BFL by BeesyBee
I’ve also spun the Anemone sample by Hands & Notions.
I loved this sample in no uncertain terms. I didn’t think I could love something that had so much stuff in it, but I love it. So much so that I bought a batt. Here’s my 6 g sample all spun up, pre-bath to set the twist: pardon the awful picture
7 yds of awesome
I spun the “Giant Red Eye” by Moonlight & Laughter, a merino/tencel blend, and found that I really really didn’t like the way it felt.
More pictures and updates as more samples get spun!
